Chronic pain, injury and long standing complaints are debilitating - the latest treatment in pain management is Microcurrent therapy.

When an injury occurs to a tissue, the electrons in that tissue take on different vibration characteristics. The vibrations of electrons are different for each tissue type and each condition; with each frequency being specific for these tissue disruptions; hence the name "Frequency Specific" Microcurrent therapy. After the condition is assessed, frequencies are chosen and reconfiguration of the disruption in the tissues alleviates the problem. As the imbalanced electron frequencies are neutralized improvements occur. This can be immediately, or they may take up to 24-48 hours to become apparent or perceptible.

FSM utilizes frequencies that are sub sensory to nerve firing; therefore minimal sensation is felt. With the use of graphite gloves during treatment conduction is easier and muscular sensation more accurate; alternatively the gloves are wrapped in wet towels for full body conduction.

Microcurrent treatment is continued until the symptoms and pathological abnormalities are corrected and eliminated, with 4-5 treatments usually necessary. Results seen with microcurrent therapy are long lasting.

Another attribute to FSM is that it uses microcurrent energy to increase energy production (ATP). This often leads to an increase in cellular activity, in which cells release stored toxins. The toxins are released into the blood stream; they reach the liver for detoxification and are then excreted from the body. Large quantities of toxins can accumulate, if the liver can’t efficiently eliminate them from the body. This can result in a minority of temporary side effects being experienced. These include: nausea, fatigue, drowsiness, a temporary increase in pain and sometimes a flu-like feeling.

To rectify these detoxifying effects it is recommended that you drink at least 1 liter of purified or filtered water before and after your treatment.
